Citizen’s Gracious Comments at Town Council Meeting

“I’m Riley Campbell, Pat Campbell’s wife in case anybody didn’t know that. Barb, first of all I want to congratulate you on your re-election. Second, I want to tell Pat that I am really proud of the job you did. It took a lot of moxie to go against the incumbent, especially in a small town like Springdale. I believe that competition makes people much better at what they do. It would have been a really boring campaign if there was nobody to run against. So it made it exciting. Pat you did an amazing job campaigning. You worked hard. You brought issues to light that were concerning to many people that weren’t brought up before. You made the election process fun and engaging. It was exciting to see what would come next. The Springdale Community Forum was formed and is going to thrive. So thank you for all your efforts.”
