Just to Clarify

As publisher of a small community newspaper, I provide a forum for ideas, opinions, and information from a variety of contributors. The opinions expressed by others in the paper are their own and do not necessarily reflect my views or those of this publication. Nor does publishing an article make me an expert on its subject. Technical, scientific, and other specialized articles are written by their respective authors, who are responsible for their content and accuracy. My role is to provide a platform for community discussion, not to personally endorse, independently validate, or become an authority on every subject presented.

Because truth is so important to me, both personally and as an editor and publisher, when I first started this local forum, I actually believed I could fact-check everything I published. I was naive. It simply isn’t possible. I am, however, delighted that so many willing and capable Springdale citizens are contributing to The Springdale Sun that I find myself needing to make this clarification. I am deeply grateful for every contributor and every reader.
