Important Updates from Community Oversight Advocacy Group

Happy New Year! We hope 2026 brings health, prosperity, and continued community spirit to everyone in Springdale.

We are writing to inform you of an important schedule change regarding the agenda item on the need for and implementation of a Community Oversight Committee (COC). This item has been moved from the previously scheduled February 11 Town Council meeting to the earlier January 14 Town Council meeting. An updated set of talking points has been provided to the Town Council members to ensure they are fully informed ahead of the discussion.

Your input is vital as we work toward greater transparency and accountability in our local government. Please feel free to submit any questions, comments, or concerns to: springdaleoversight@gmail.com (mailto:springdaleoversight@gmail.com)

When submitting, all submissions will remain anonymous unless directed to do so otherwise. We will respect your privacy either way.

If you would like to receive summarized issues and concerns via email, let us know in your message and we will add you to a distribution list. We are also open to starting an informal, anonymous discussion thread for comments if there is interest—just reply to indicate your preference.

Our shared goal is to ensure our elected representatives and town management remain accountable to all residents and businesses with fairness, equality, and the highest ethical standards.

Thank you for your engagement in making Springdale an even better place to live and work.

Sincerely, Community Oversight Advocacy Group (invitation to join)
