Planning Commission Recap

The last meeting of the Planning Commission was a study in frustration as well as respect and gratitude. They discussed remodels, what it means to remove a house if the “remodel” starts to runaway with itself. I found them all trying so hard to be respectful of those in the remodel milieu.

Sometimes they are so careful one gets frustrated because it seems there has to be a simpler solution. But mostly one feels amazed at how conscientious they are. I take my hat off to them with the aforementioned respect and gratitude.

They proceeded to discuss buffer zones between commercial properties and properties being used as residential and pretty much have that one locked up with just a few tweaks.
