It’s Elementary

Springdale Elementary is proud to offer a supportive, enriching environment where every student is known and encouraged to succeed. With small class sizes, 1:1 support, and 1:1 technology access, students receive individualized attention and the tools they need to thrive academically. We prioritize literacy through daily reading interventions that help students build strong foundational skills. We are in the top percentage of schools in the District for reading and math.
Creativity and the arts are a vibrant part of our school culture. Through the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Art & Music Program, students engage in high-quality arts education and have opportunities to showcase their talents in our annual Holiday program, school art show and yearly talent show. We also partner with Z-Arts, inviting local professional artists to share their creative mediums and inspire our students.
Our school is proud to be a Leader in Me school, helping students develop leadership, responsibility, and confidence. Students also participate in hands-on learning through STEM activities, our school garden, and a unique partnership with Zion National Park, which enhances science and social studies learning through engaging lessons and field trips. Beyond the classroom, students can participate in Adventure Club, held in the fall and spring, where they explore and learn together in fun and active ways in nature.
Together, these programs help create a well-rounded educational experience that supports academic growth, creativity, leadership, and community connection. At Springdale Elementary we recognize and appreciate the amazing support from all over our community in so many different ways.
We currently have 13 students that live in Springdale and Rockville, 6 from Virgin and 24 students from the LaVerkin, Hurricane area.
