Weeping Rock

(an article written when weeping rock had been just reopened after a fairly long closure due to a rock slide)

We arrived in time for last light up on Cable Mtn. Excited to walk the trail again we noticed some good repairs & improvements along the way but the incline is steeper than I remember, ha, yet in the alcove we hold so dear, the moss & ferns and weeping remain the same as always. Most of the dust has washed or blown away but the East Rim & Hidden Canyon trails are still closed. So whether you shuttle, or bike, or wait until winter to drive up canyon, you can surely look forward to your next visit to Weeping Rock!”
