The Springdale Sun - a Milestone

The Springdale Sun is now a year old. Although it has seen a fair share of controversy, complaints, and skepticism, mostly it has been received with local gratitude, affection, and, thankfully, contributions. It has survived its many faux pas and its few detractors. It has accomplished much good but much potential power remains untapped.

It could definitely make a greater positive impact on Springdale’s unity with more human interest articles, getting to know you pieces, and tidbits of very, very local interest, like who’s showing a baby bump, is graduating, or just vacationed in Timbuktu. Please help.

Still, in going over past issues in preparation for this special birthday edition, it is clear it has actually made positive contributions to our community. Most of this week’s issue will be articles from past issues.

There is no way to fully express how valuable your articles and input have been and can be. You are all urged to comment and contribute.

Please help spread the word; the more subscribers, the greater the potential for good. Encourage engagement, both in The Springdale Sun and the community it represents.

TSS remains committed to the mission statement printed above. It remains committed to the belief that information is valuable to a community, especially a small town and, even more especially, a small town with vast numbers of international guests.

The Springdale Sun champions honesty, accountability, and transparency. It firmly believes our excellent community can yet improve — and that TSS can be part of that growth.
