Planning Commission Meeting

Volume II, Issue 20 · May 19, 2026Printed on page 8

Planning Commission Meeting this Wednesday, 5 pm, at the CCC, to discuss the adding a Transient Lodging Overlay Zone at 974 Zion Park Blvd. Sounds like Meme’s might be giving way to yet more overnight rentals, but also long term rentals. This is a complicated request and information for it can be found here: < https://www.springdale.utah.gov/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Item/2070?fileID=12063> This item is public hearing, comments from the public will be entertained. I have often stated Springdale should halt nightly rentals altogether but I was impressed with this application and would probably vote for it. I’d be interested in other opinions.

The only other item is to potentially cancel the June 3 meeting. Town Staff needs time to hire and train.
