DeZion Gallery Joins the Mass Blackout (of the Corporate Overlords) and Then Some

In the spirit of the Mass Blackout (Nov 25–Dec 2), where we collectively take a cozy little break from feeding the corporate overlords their seasonal feast of profit-margins and questionable ethics, we decided to join in — and then go a step further.
Here at the gallery, we’re rolling out a holiday sale exclusively for cash-carrying patrons.
Yes. You read that right. Cash.
The original off-grid currency.
The analog hero.
The jingly little symbol of independence in your pocket.
Bring cash, get the Deal!
Credit Cards? Cute, we still love you, and still No Deal
Get it?
Got it?
Good-O!!!
We’re doing this partly out of solidarity… and partly because, let’s be honest, every small business owner is one unfair transaction fee away from screaming into a decorative wreath. So let’s keep it simple, keep it human, and keep more resources in the actual community — you know, where real art and real people live.
WHEN:
- Mass Blackout sale: Nov 25 – Dec 2
- Our extended CASH-ONLY Holiday Deal: all the way to Dec 25... because we’re festive like that!
WHY:
Because we love you.
Because artists deserve better.
Because VISA et al. already has enough yachts.
Because community > corporations.
And because it feels extremely punk-rock to say “cash only” during the holidays in a National Park Gateway Town.
So grab your mittens, your good cheer, and your little green paper friends, and come snag some art that was made by actual humans.
Support local. Support independent. Support resistance with a side of sparkle.
Happy Holidays, you magnificent creatures!
