WUI is all about being proactive in preventing wildfires. The Town has evolved a map showing what areas are proposed to be in the Wildland Urban Interface Zone. Those areas are at greater risk from wildfires and will want to increase fire prevention strategies around their homes. The map can be accessed here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1Qppg_CQ0jKFI02rYzNnq9ltbEBs85Ew&ll=37.180965738514516,-113.006873&z=14mid=1Qppg_CQ0jKFI02rYzNnq9ltbEBs85Ew&ll=37.180965738514516,-113.006873&z=14

This has been discussed at some length in The Springdale Sun as well as by the town. The recent February presentation held by the town can be accessed here: https://www.springdale.utah.gov/DocumentCenter/View/2473/WUI-Presentation-2-17-26-1?bidId=
