Meetings, Meetings, and More Meetings

This last week there were several meetings of potential interest, all of which will have more discussion to follow.. The first was the well-attended WUI conversation about upcoming fire prevention strategies, then the the Public Officials Training Meeting, a regular Planning Commission Meeting, a Messaging Initiative Meeting, and a Special Town Council Meeting (Special means additional because nothing really special about it. See below for the brief recap of pretty standard approvals. It is commendable that TC and staff convened this additional meeting—one that could likely have been deferred to a regular session—but doing so undoubtedly provided more timely decisions for those awaiting approvals for some upcoming events.)
